Veolia Water North America operates and maintains 5,000 miles of wastewater collection lines and 1,150 wastewater and storm water pump stations, but we prefer to measure our success by effectively optimizing municipal funds to help communities control sewer rate increases. We achieve these goals through an acute focus upon excellent customer response, proper maintenance, and ongoing investments using best practices and new technologies. Our expertise covers all stages of the wastewater collection process - from planning, design and construction to long-term operations, maintenance and management of collection networks.
We assess the collection network infrastructure with techniques that include CCTV and smoke testing, infiltration/inflow (I/I) studies, sanitary sewer overflow, and combined sewer overflow studies and hydraulic modeling.
We apply our preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring maximum system uptime and minimal service disruptions. We employ state-of the-art approaches to sewer line rehabilitation (including trenchless technologies such as pipe bursting, cast-in-place pipe, slip lining, and cleaning and lining existing pipes), as well as life-cycle management approaches to related assets.
We establish 24/7 operations center management and service delivery that links treatment facility and collection systems operations with customers and other contractually guaranteed services to meet your requirements and desired service levels (learn more about our Customer Service).
