A processing alternative to creating a centrifuge Cake, Coker Quench or Scalfeed™ (Coker Feed) processing, is our Scalfuel™ (Cement Kiln Waste Derived Fuel) technology, which provides our clients with a cost effective option for processing oily residuals and sludge created in the wastewater treatment cycle. In addition to the cost savings offered by operating the Scalfuel™ process, re-using wastes as alternate fuels for cement kilns easily achieves a Destruction and Removal Efficiency (DRE) of at least 99.99 percent, as required by U.S. EPA regulations for most organic wastes.
